I am Dr. Cathy Lee and I am excited to join the Jackson Ave Dental team and the beautiful office! I graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine with DDS and Columbia Mailman School of Public Health with MPH. Then I completed my General practice residency at Brooklyn VA hospital and has been serving the Queens community since.

Studying both dentistry and public health, I learned that dental care is an essential part of our quality of life, and I am always striving to help my patients to improve their oral health and achieve a better lifestyle. I want my patients who come to see me understand that I am willing to listen to their stories, needs, and concerns because I believe that a mutual understanding and trust between the doctor and patients can result in the best outcomes.

I deeply share Dr. Chen's vision of building a place where our patients and staff can't possibly imagine being anywhere else.

If there is a way to improve our life quality, why not work on it together? Myself, as well as our office, are here to provide care, and we encourage you to not hesitate to reach out to us. Whether it may be a simple check-up or more complicated work, we are willing to provide the best care with commitment.

Positivity and humor are the keys to my happiness, and I want to share two quotes by Bob Marley that always resonates with me.

"The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.”

"Don't worry about a thing, every little thing is gonna be alright."

Dentistry is a perfect combination of art and science and it gives me joy learning new things every day through conversations with diverse people and working with my hands. (I may not be the best pianist or violinist, but my small hands seem to be perfect for my job and so far, patients seem to be happy about them.) I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, as well as meditation, and my passion lies in creativity and nature.   I am also very interested in a healthy lifestyle and believe that anyone can achieve a healthier lifestyle with proper knowledge and a strong will. I would love to learn ways so please do not hesitate to share your wisdom with me when you visit us. :)

Dr. Cathy Lee is very kind and accommodating to patients. Her office is always playing soft, upbeat music and is kept meticulously clean. Her colleagues are all very kind as well. She is a highly personable and down to earth doctor and takes the time to work carefully with my teeth and offer helpful advice where needed. The practice offers a wide range of services; from cleanings and fillings to crowns and cosmetic whitening.

If you’re looking for a reliable, clean, genuinely nice dental practice in the area; this is your place.

I have been coming to Dr. Chen for general dentistry for close to a year and have been very satisfied with my experience with this dental office. Overall, the staff is very friendly and the office is clean with precautionary measures in place to keep me comfortable/safe during my visit.

Recently, I had some crown work done by Dr. Cathy Lee. She was very personable and meticulous in her craft. When I came back to get the temporary crown replaced with permanent, it was a perfect color match and fit, needing only minor adjustments to match my bite. I feel very confident in recommending her without hesitation.

I will definitely ask for Dr. Lee on my next visit.

Amazing experience! I was pretty nervous to go to the dentist during Covid but this office put me at ease. It’s so clean inside and they follow all the protocols such as ruling out if you have any symptoms, taking your temperature, asking to sanitize hands. I felt very safe the whole time. Also Dr. Lee was gentle and kind.

Highly recommend and glad to find a good dentist office nearby to home.

Love love love them all!

I finally found a dental home. I’ve been in NYC for about 4 years and I’ve struggled to find a dentist that I felt comfortable with and met my expectations. No shady business, honest and straight forward and will go the extra mile to ensure perfection.

Highly recommend!

I had been looking for a new dentist. My previous dentist was a huge manhattan firm where I saw a new dentist and hygienist almost every single time. I walked by Jackson Ave Dental and decided to give them a try.

I LOVE them. The office is small but personal--it has that hometown feel. I saw Dr. Lee who did my cleaning and then a week later she did some work I needed to be done-- the same dentist again! (Not like my last dentist's office).

The office is brand new, super clean, and super state-of-the-art. Dr. Lee was able to show me on the screen (in real-time in color) exactly what my issues were, and where she would be working. All my last dentist had was black and white blurry X-rays.

I have decided to permanently switch to Jackson Ave Dental for ALL my dental needs including Invisalign.

Also, I feel very safe and comfortable there considering everything with covid. Very clean and patients are staggered.

I highly recommend Jackson Ave Dental!
